About the model Robinson R66

The larger of the Robinsons, R66, offers extra space and comfort at an affordable price tag. R66 is ideal for panoramic and short flights, including those to difficult-to-access locations. Average cruise speed comes in at 204km/h -- more than its predecessor and on par with other single-engine helicopters. Although the aircraft look alike on the outside, the R66 is truly an evolution from its older model. A turbo engine makes it more powerful and agile, a lowered window line offers unprecedented forward and downward visibility, and a larger cabin offers extra space for one more passenger, accommodating a total of 4 passengers and a pilot. But the most important improvement from the R44 is an external baggage compartment, accommodating golf clubs or hard luggage cases. Thanks to the 0.51m³ (18ft³) rear baggage compartment combined with the under seat carry-on luggage space, you can now take up to 3 mid-size cases and 3 soft bags for your weekend escapade..
