About the model MD600N

The McDonnel-Douglas 600N is a light turbine engine helicopter popular for panoramic tours and flights involving tight landing spaces. It is a stretched seven-to-eight-seat development of the previous MD 520N helicopter. Its strengths include high seating capacity, high cruising speeds and mature, field-proven systems and design. An internal baggage space of just 5ft³ (0.14 m³) allows for a limited carry-on luggage only (1 laptop bag per passenger) Like the MD500 series, the MD600N is known for being able to vertically take-off with full passengers and fuel on a hot and humid day. It flies faster, hovers higher, and provides the agility and exceptional handling for which the MD 500® series is known. With its advanced NOTAR® anti-torque system, the MD 600N is a member of an exclusive class of the safest, quietest helicopters in the world, making it ideal for urban and densely populated areas. With more than 2,500 aircraft currently in service around the world, MD helicopters are known for their versatility, speed and reliability.

Robinson R66

Robinson R66

The larger of the Robinsons, R66, offers extra space and comfort at an affordable price tag. R66 is ideal for panoramic and short flights, including those to difficult-to-access locations. Average cruise speed comes in at 204km/h -- more than its predecessor and on par with other single-engine helicopters. Although the aircraft look alike on the outside, the R66 is truly an evolution from its older model. A turbo engine makes it more powerful and agile, a lowered window line offers unprecedented forward and downward visibility, and a larger cabin offers extra space for one more passenger, accommodating a total of 4 passengers and a pilot. But the most important improvement from the R44 is an external baggage compartment, accommodating golf clubs or hard luggage cases. Thanks to the 0.51m³ (18ft³) rear baggage compartment combined with the under seat carry-on luggage space, you can now take up to 3 mid-size cases and 3 soft bags for your weekend escapade..
