This single-engine utility aircraft was designed and built by the Australia-based GippsAero. With the capacity of up to 7-8 passengers or 600kg of cargo, it remains one of the most versatile piston aircraft ever built. With large windows and door and a centre aisle, access is easy and visibility is excellent. Its roomy cabin, excellent visibility, performance, and modern design features make it a favorite among pilots, mechanics, and guests alike. The GA8 Airvan is also ideal for photography and skydiving, being able to be flown at very low speeds, with no vibration. Its unique ability to fly with the large back sliding door open provides unrestricted vision for photographers, TV camera operators and parachuters.
